1.3 Then the Seer abides in Itself, resting in its own True Nature, which is called Self-realization. (tada drashtuh svarupe avasthanam)

 

Descriptions:

 

  • Verse summary & teaching 

Sage Patanjali expressed to us from the Sanskrit word (Tada), which means if we start to make a commitment to start look deepen within, and start to make effort to concentrate and focus, and start the process of meditation, then from the Sanskrit word (drashtuh) , we will start to discover our true spiritual identity ( Atman in Sanskrit). To envision this true self spiritual identity, once need to seek the focus away from other external matters or other forms of mental process . The quality of this true spiritual identity remains unchanged (svarupe) and sits steadily at the back of our conscienceless (avasthanam).

 

  • Life application 

Modern life distractions are means of keeping ourselves away from the searching of our inner spiritual identity. Life distractions can be our busy daily routine, our career ambitions, our attachments to phones, entertainments, social life activities. Coping with life distractions and learning how to filter these distractions are the positive and correct direction of the beginning journey of start focusing within our soul identity.
